The person's MIND does this via its DM=SI, and since the DM=SI operates through the Left-Hemisphere, the L-H becomes the dominant hemisphere through which this person operates. This greatly reduces what access that person might have had to Conscience and Discretion, and to the faculty of intuition which gave that person access to both Conscience and Discretion. This reliance on the L-H also reduces the actual experience of emotionality, and in its stead this person would tend to act out in ways that would indicate "feelings". Exaggerated gestures, feigned concern, etc.
This new alternate and false identity modifies its previous personality traits to conform with and to the demands of this new identity. The more external elements one can use [somewhat like stage props] to support this new identity the better one can adopt to it. These new traits or elements are quickly habituated, and Delusional Thinking is continually fed to the Left-Hemisphere of this persons brain to justify and make "real" this persons new identity.
The inherent instability of this false identity must be reinforced continually and this tends to explain the outward acting out of this person to convince the world that this new identity is indeed who this person is. The longer this person lives this new identity the stronger it becomes and the more difficult it is to help this person disengage from it. But as in all things taken-on by ones MIND, this false identity is also subject to competent therapeutic dismantling. The key being the term "competent".
In recent times I have discovered at least two personality structures that are served by the C-D phenomenon. One is what I have labeled the LMSyn [Liberal MIND Syndrome]. And the other is the personality structure of homosexuality. In each of these a substantial denial of ones natural personality is overridden by a false identity that is created to "replace" the old one... that is for some reason perceived as too threatening to allow to continue.
The key element in each instance is the level of Clinical-Denial or the level that the individual has no idea that he/she has completely replaced a natural personality with a new false one that is focused almost exclusively external to oneself. This external focus is obviously part of the perceived "threat" associated with ones previous personality structure.
And as is the case in everything I have discovered over the last 30+ years, all aspects of a persons MIND and what it does is subject to that persons Fate Karma. In other words, a persons MIND does not operate randomly or capriciously, but only in cooperation with ones Apapsyche and ones Fate Karma. We may be hard pressed to comprehend the sometimes highly convoluted twists and turns of how ones MIND fulfills ones Fate Karma, but the answer is always there to be found with diligent introspection of ones own MIND realm.
The "secret" of competent psychotherapy will always depend upon whether or not one has explored ones own MIND realm and eliminated the deeply repressed misperceptions that prevent one from accessing ones Empathetic Understanding. One cannot possess DEC [Direct Esoteric Communication] with which to access the MIND of another unless one has first accessed ones own MIND. This "process" is called Esochology.
