It has been some 2,000 years since the ancient Greeks gave the world Psychology. The ancient Greeks would be surprised to discover how, over time, the Esoteric nature of their Psychology has been subtly lost. They would have been overjoyed that my Esochology has restored the Esoteric dimensions to what they had given the world. And I believe they would have been quite pleased to discover that what they gave the world as a study of the Esoteric dimensions of man for professionals only, has now been extended for the public at large under the symbol ESOED [Esoteric Education].

The term "Esochology" refers to the professional study of the Esoteric dimensions of Man [as the Psychology of the ancient Greeks was intended to be studied], and the symbol "ESOED" refers to the educational application of the principles and concepts of Esocholoy. Of course teachers of ESOED must undergo some specialized training, but this training is simply becoming familiar with the natural faculty of intuition as part of the field of education. Discovering ones faculty of intuition seems strange only because it has been such a long time since education has given any significant interest to the concept of intuition [the reason being, intuition is not an operation of ones brain, or of thinking]. Beginning to make use of this crucial and natural faculty of Man is long overdue..... of course the field of education has not done anything about ESOED as yet. Let us hope it does not take another century before this idea touches someone in a position to do something.

If you are advanced enough to realize that there are three dimensions to Man, and not just the obvious physical dimension, then you are ready for the concepts of ESOED. ESOED stands for Esoteric Education, or educating oneself to ones own Esoteric dimensions from "within" those dimensions themselves using ones faculty of intuition and the concept of DEC, or Direct Esoteric Communication.

That this practical use of intuition in the discovery of ones Esoteric dimensions has been thought not possible for such a long time should not deter one from exploring the possibility. It was also said for a long time that Man could not fly. That Man cannot himself fly does not mean that Man cannot enjoy flying. That one can discover and enhance ones intuition is also possible, and this possibility opens the Esoteric realms hidden within oneself to ones conscious awareness [which is different than ones thinking].

Of course like almost everything else in life, each of us will have a unique level of ability for accessing intuition. There is no magic involved in this, but there is some mysticism involved. But mysticism is not something one does, it is rather something one awakens to, explores, and experiences. And the faculty for this is ones intuition, which is enhanced by practice.

Regarding the reluctance and sometimes even "inability" of some people to access their intuition, and thus the Esoteric realms within themselves.... I wrote a book entitled Death of Psychology That Nobody Noticed, and in it I quoted the following:

"A child is influenced and changed as a biological entity by things that happen to him, but the notion that somehow or other the child of our past is still contained within us is a form of animism which serves no useful purpose in explaining present behavior".... [Evans, Richard I. B.F. Skinner: The Man and His Ideas. New York: E.P. Dutton &Co., 1968.]

The reason Skinner would say such a foolish thing is that he had no knowledge of his own Esoteric MIND. And this means that he had no understanding of how his own MIND "caused" him to "think" as he did. He was unaware of the fact that his great intellect was incapable of discovering his MIND... nor was he aware that it was his own MIND that caused him to think that his brain was superior to his MIND. Skinner made the natural mistake that those trained in modern mental health make today, and that is to discount the Esoteric MIND because it cannot be known by thinking.

It never occurred to Skinner, nor does it occur to those in BS&bp today to question the reason they would deny the Esoteric in Man so resolutely? The notion that it could be fear would never occur to them. And yet, it is fear that causes people to resist, deny, or ignore the Esoteric so strongly. Hidden within the MIND of Man is a super subtle fear that naturally causes most people to fear what might be hidden within themselves. People may kid about this, but few people want to find out.
