I discovered in 1978, as a consequence of my own psychotherapy with a Gestalt therapist, that I possessed a great deal of insight regarding the Esoteric dimensions operating within Man, and within myself of course. A huge but previously unknown blockage within my own MIND was removed as a consequence of my therapy. I suddenly awakened to a bunch of Knowledge within myself that a few minutes prior to my therapy I did not know even existed.

A few months later I completed my training and began my own career as a psychotherapist. And little did I know how "OUTSIDE THE NORMAL PATH OF MENTAL HEALTH" I would find myself... but this is a story beyond the topic of this page. Let me begin by saying that what I'm about to explain takes place deep within the MIND realm of certain individuals who have no idea that they are "different" than other people. Were you aware that some people are suffering from a "mental illness" of sorts, and that they have no idea that there is anything wrong with themselves? Well one reason for this is that in the West we tend to glorify and place on pedestals those who are the most intellectually gifted among ourselves... and it never occurs to us to ask the "reason" these people are so "exceptionally" intellectual?

Many people realize that the MIND is not the brain, despite the efforts of mental health to deny and ignore this fact for the last century. The MIND of Man is composed of two levels of energy that are too subtle for the brain and physical senses to perceive. The MIND, along with the Spiritual realm within Man are said to be "Esoteric". Esoteric is just a term that is applied to that which is not physical and cannot be discovered except through special means.

"Special means?" By this I refer to use of ones intuition, which is quite different than "thinking" with ones brain. Intuition is a bit of psychic awareness of ones own Spiritual Knowledge... that everyone has, but in most people it is rarely identified and seldom used.

The Whole Human Being is composed of three simultaneously existing and yet separate realms or energies. A behavioral scientist in the early 1900's, B.F. Skinner, decided that the Esoteric two-thirds of Man could not be "meaningfully defined or studied", and that assumption was quickly picked up and became the basis of modern mental health and the oxymoron "behavioral psychology", or collectively "BS&bp".

So for the last century the West has been about denying and ignoring two-thirds of Man while focusing all its energy on developing the physical dimension of Man. This means that the Esoteric two-thirds of Man has almost been forgotten. I have spent the last 30+ years studying the Esoteric dimensions of Man, and offering help to those suffering from "conflicts" within their MIND realms. I perhaps understand the MIND [what it is, and how it works] better than most since I have spent so much time working with my own MIND and the MINDs of others for many years.

Only those in the minority of the population who are naturally capable of using the faculty of "intuition" [are naturally "psychic"] have sufficient access to the Esoteric realms within themselves so that they are aware of these subtle realms. This means that most people are limited to the illusion of life, or to what their physical senses can perceive and their brains can "think" about. Oddly enough the minority does not realize that everyone cannot perceive what they naturally see. And the majority do not realize that the minority can see what they do and realize what they do. And since the majority cannot see or realize what the minority can see, the majority "thinks" the minority are simply "nuts". Does this help explain some things for you?

And we in the West glorify and even educate our youth to limit themselves to use of the Left-Hemisphere of their brains and "thinking". And the reason we do this is that the vast majority of the population in the West are naturally Left-Hemisphere of the brain oriented. And this means most of our teachers are L-H oriented as well. And our intellectuals are L-H oriented as well. And those in science, law, education and certainly politicians are L-H oriented as well.... and none of these people realize what they are missing?

And a large number of those who are L-H oriented are what we refer to today as "Liberals" [or people who view life as dangerous, threatening and something Man is responsible for "correcting"].

And a small number of these people are "extreme" in how much they fear Life [that is, they fear having to use the Yang energy of their MIND realms in dealing with Life]. The way this manifests itself so that most people might notice is that these people have an intense fear of exercising "personal responsibility" for anything. But please realize that what I am talking about is a syndrome operating within the "Psychology" of these people [and this means that it is entirely unknown to and incapable of being discovered by their brains]. These people are quite unaware that anything is wrong with them. The LMSyn individual is completely unaware that he or she has within his or her MIND realm something that is subtly altering how he or she views and reacts to life.

The insidious part of LMSyn is that where it does its work is within the MIND of the individual, and nothing in particular the person says or does outside would be seen as indicating the person is suffering from LMSyn. The Conservative individual might wonder at the "thinking" of the Liberal suffering from LMSyn, but the Conservative would not imagine that what the Liberal "thinks" is due to an illness within the Liberal's MIND realm.

The primary reason for this is that in America, we have been taught to deny and ignore the Esoteric dimensions within Man for over a century. Since BS&bp has no idea what the MIND is, or how it works, those trained in BS&bp have insisted that the nation ignore the MIND and Spiritual realms within Man. And the nation [the majority of which are L-H oriented and thus, naturally possessing a bit of fear of the Esoteric dimensions of Man, are more than happy to deny the Esoteric dimensions within Man].

These despots all share something in common, which must be missing or greatly diminished within someone for that person to be infected with LMSyn. Each of these people had a greatly diminished access to Conscience and Discretion, or more precisely the Spiritual realm within themselves. Many people share a somewhat diminished access to Conscience and Discretion, but not so much that "by compensation" their intellects drive them over the edge of civilized behavior.

Ones Conscience is part of ones Spiritual realm. And specifically part of ones "Spiritual Evolution", which is the result of ones accumulation of completed Karma, over many, many lifetimes. In other words, ones Soul is gathering "wisdom" by using its physical body to engage Life. What was surprising to me when I discovered it some years back is the fact that intellectualism is not correlated with ones level of Conscience. In other words, a Soul operating on the physical plane of existence can be very intellectual and have very little Spiritual Evolution. A relatively new Soul in its experiencing of the physical plane can in actuality possess a very high level of intellectualism.... if the Fate Karma of that Soul demands this combination.

This is surprising, is it not? It throws a very differ light on how we view people in the West. Perhaps those we admire so for their intellects may not be what they "think" they are? And perhaps someone much less "smart" is much more wise... and it is the persons "humility" that we do not recognize nor perceive as of value?

What is LMSyn? It is a condition that is not really an illness, but it acts like an illness in that it prevents those suffering from it from being "normal" [although they have no idea that they are not normal]. When a persons MIND must prevent one from a normal and natural access to intuition, this results in that person having a greatly reduced access to what intuition provides us... and most people are unaware of what intuition provides.

What most people do not realize is that a "normal" person has some access to Empathetic Understanding [which means one can empathize with others because one can touch the same emotionality within oneself]. This ability varies in each person of course. In some it is strong, and in others lacking. In the sociopath is is almost entirely absent. Those who are suffering from LMSyn do not have this faculty and can "learn" to fake it. This is what BS&bp mistakes as how people "learn". But intellectual or environmental learning gives one an ability to mimic the phrase "I feel this or that"... while the person has no actual emotional reality of which they are aware.

The difference between "I think" and "I Know" is substantial. But rare are those who actually Know something of Reality based on intuition of the Knowledge from within their own Apapsyche. After reading about your Apapsyche, you now know what it is within you that has the capacity of accessing the Esoteric realms within yourself. That this term has not been seen [or what it refers to not articulated before] indicates how little is known about the Spiritual realm within Man in America. Although the original meaning of "consciousness", given to us by the ancient Greeks, might have been intended to refer to what I now refer to using "Apapsyche"?

The reason the LMSyn is important for us to consider is that those suffering from LMSyn cannot do so themselves. If those of us who can, do not, then who will? Although one may not know the psychological factors that are involved in the phenomenon of LMSyn, many can appreciate the "symptoms" of Liberalism: Fear of personal repsonsibility; Fear of those things of life that remind one of the Yang [male and outgoing] energy of MIND; And the delusional belief that people are incapable of taking care of themselves; And finally, that people have to control nature because there is no God.

In closing, may I appeal to those capable of perceiving the fact that Man is more than a physical body, and that Man has a purpose other than sheer survival, you have a responsibility to yourself, your family, and the nation to help point to the "symptoms" of LMSny that, if not seriously addressed, will eventually destroy America.
