ESOCHOLOGY = A study of the Esoteric dimensions of Man from within those Esoteric dimensions themselves via ones faculty of Intuition.
...[A Soft warning regarding this page, this website, and my work in general: In my writing, I will bounce back and forth between the illusion of life and the Reality of Life continually and hopefully... I will make a note of doing so. But... if I fail to note doing so, I apologize. After thirty years working with the Esoteric dimensions of myself and others, it is difficult for me to always remember that others may not possess these experiences. So, I am prone to assume readers share the same experiences as those I am pointing to in my writing. If you can allow for this, and you will push through parts that seem confusing, the result is often positive and surprising.
Update 3/23/2012: I coined the term "Esochology" by using the prefix "Eso" from Esoteric, and "chology" from the Greek, and the term Psy -"chology". Combined they make Esochology, and this term refers to a study of the Esoteric [non-physical] dimensions of Man. Generally speaking, the term Esoteric refers to the MIND and Spiritual dimensions of Man. Both are invisible to ones brain and physical senses.
What is so difficult to convey to people is this: It is not possible to contact the Esoteric dimensions of oneself by physical means! The way to awaken to the Esoteric dimensions of oneself, and of Life... is to do so via ones faculty of Intuition. [Research Intuition Here.
The Esoteric dimensions of Man, and of Life, are invisible because they are composed of vibrational energies whose resonances are taking place at levels the physical senses cannot perceive. But.... there is a faculty of Man that can "experience" these Esoteric dimensions. I refer to that faculty as "Intuition". And this is about as far as the brain can go in the discussion of these Esoteric phenomena.... except that the brain can see the "Abstract words, terms, symbols and concepts" that I must use to write "ABOUT" these Esoteric dimensions and their operations.
The "problem" is, quite often a person's MIND causes ones brain to "think' [by feeding Delusional Thinking to the Left-Hemisphere of ones brain] thoughts that convince the person that his brain does comprehend the words on either side of my new concept, therefore "one can assume that one must know the unusual term I am presenting to you as well. This assumption is due to the ability of the MIND to cause one to "think" that one "knows" something that one has not actually "experienced". "Because ones brain can identify a word, term, symbol or concept that "stands for" something, the brain "believes" it "knows" that something as well. The problem is...this thinking is "delusional". A person's MIND literally feeds thoughts [Delusional Thinking] to the Left-Hemisphere of the brain and the brain "thinks" that it understands ["knows"] what it has not actually experienced. It is not, of course, possible for someone who is limited to "thinking" to realize that his/her thinking is often "delusional". Nor can they be reasoned with regarding what they cannot "see".
It is not at all unusual for someone reading my writing to focus on some common term and to rail against my use of that term, while attacking me personally with one negative comment or another.... At no time realizing the amount of fear of the Esoteric being repressed within his/her MIND is what is driving his/her condemnation of me personally. This is most common from the Intelack type personality [most often referred to the "Liberal"] explained Here. The culprit is the "DM=SI" of the MIND, noted previously.
I refer to this phenomenon as "Delusional Thinking, or D-Think", but perhaps "Delusional Thinking" is not an adequate descriptor of this phenomenon? The "something" in question... is, in actuality, a vibrational bit of reality existing in another dimension of space and time. And the only part of Man [of which I am aware] capable of accessing and experiencing this non-physical bit of space and time is ones "Intuition"... which is a part of ones Apapsyche, which is part of ones Spiritual dimension.
And if you are unable to accept that you are composed of multiple vibrational dimensions... then of course your MIND will be only too happy to cause you to think that I am just nuts. What would enable you to "think" this is explained Here. And of course there is nothing "scientific" about any of this. Scientists tend to confine us to that which is physical, and now you know the "psychological" reason for this scientific fixation on the physical. It is fear of the "unknown" within oneself, in other words.
Although this "Delusional Thinking" [wherein the brain is caused to mistakenly believe it "knows" what an "abstract word means", when the "abstract word" only stands for something the word itself cannot convey ] is self-delusional activity of which one is not at all aware... one has no "reason" to question ones own thinking, and believes such thinking to be true.
This common phenomena is so subtle that its operation goes largely unnoticed and unreported by those who could inform the public.... if they themselves were aware of this phenomena taking place within themselves! Could this possibly be the blind leading the blind we hear so much about?
In other words, and generally unknown to people, the MIND can cause one to "think" that one knows things ones brain cannot possibly experience [because these things do not exist within the physical universe]. The brain knows things abstractly, in other words.... and it often does not realize that what it thinks it knows... is merely an abstract word, term, symbol or concept that only "points to" something as perhaps existing....and clearly this "something" is not contained in, nor conveyed by that abstract word, term, etc. The abstract word points to an amorphous, invisible vibrational reality that exists, but separate from this physical plane.
Take for example the person who, upon hearing the Doctor pronounce the label for a set of symptoms... that person immediately feels better, because his MIND now has a "name" to blame for the "unknown" he is experiencing. He is psychologically relieved that it is some diagnosed illness and not himself. As though an illness exists separate from the person's Karma [and what from within that person must take place to allow that illness to manifest]!
This "slight of hand" by medicine is not [unfortunately] just for the patient, it is even believed by those who practice it. To label symptoms is what modern medicine and mental health is all about. Intellectualism has now replaced what limited Intuition and Empathetic Understanding might have been exercised in the past. And the drug companies have taken over dealing with people by the use of drugs. Professionals in health care fields have lost sight of the fact that symptoms are merely a sign post for something the brain cannot possibly perceive. The physical brain often "thinks" that it "knows" a thing because it can spell a word, define it, and use in in a sentence. The brain does not generally comprehend what it will never be able to experience: An emotional energy of the MIND, or a subtle sense of fear, anxiety, etc. Internal phenomena that manifest in a "mental conflict" or the venting of "symptoms" referred to above that Doctors now "think" of as [some illness] that Intellectualism deals with by use of drugs.
This is nothing but pretending that what is causing a person pain is something other than the person him/herself. This denial of Reality is rampant throughout many cultures today. It is the ultimate in Intellectualism taking over every facet of life and using fear as its handmaiden. It is clearly time for a massive geophysical change.... perhaps December 21, 2012?
It is impossible for me to describe a sunset in any way [using just words] that "conveys" that sunset to you.... although your brain will take your memory of a sunset and "think" that your memory is what I am referring to. This "delusional thinking" takes place continually within Man, and "this" fact has not been widely circulated. Especially by those whose fear of what their brains cannot "control" causes them to condemn the unknown out of hand, and to discount, mock, belittle, and if nothing else dissuades a person from insisting on exposing what is frightening to the Intelack personality, more violent means are applied, including death. Burning witches at the stake, for example.
The inherent danger of the Intelack individual, when he/she feels him/herself threatened, has not even begun to be made part of the public discourse. And this means the nation is at risk from those they "think" are trustworthy.
Other than my own writings, and a few radio talk show hosts.... very little has been said regarding the intense fear driving the Intelack individual in his/her relentless resistance to the Esoteric Truth, Spirituality, or the Reality of Life. When telling the Truth is a threat, and people are not aware they are threatening some people by simply insisting on the Truth, then we as a nation are in serious trouble.
The beauty of Truth is that it cannot be harmed by anything. Truth is entirely Esoteric, and not being part of this Earth plane, or the physical universe for that matter... it remains aloof and safe from being trampled by those who fear it. But Man does not share in this protection. Man is ever more vulnerable to being harmed by those who fear the Truth. This is a tip for those who can "see" the truth. Be careful to whom one offers the truth.

My work over the last thirty plus years has been that of an Esochologist, or Esogist for short. And what makes Esochology different than "psychology" [as "psychology" is practiced today]... is that Esochology studies what the ancient Greeks intended Psychology to study. And, what is that? A study of the "Whole Human Being" [all four dimensions of Man] not just the physical dimension of Man.
Even during my Masters training in psychology/psychotherapy, I realized that my view of the Psychology of the ancient Greeks was "different" that what I was being taught. But, I did not truly comprehend how different my view was until, during my second semester of training, I sought out a Gestalt psychotherapist, and used this opportunity to effect an enlightening catharsis that dramatically altered my life... That was at age 43, I am now 76 years and counting.
The "effectiveness" of Gestalt Psychotherapy is that it has the ability to "fool" the MIND, and to cause the MIND to reveal repressed emotional content hidden within the MIND to the conscious awareness of individuals when practiced by a competent and properly trained individual. Alas, the "problem" with Gestalt Psychotherapy is that it is practiced by individuals who are not themselves prepared to practice this most effective process.
The very process of Gestalt is in itself effective, and thus, it can be physically practiced by people who have no idea what they are doing? And the result of this can be even more harmful than the fully ineffectual practice of intellectualism that is commonly taught today as the oxymoron "behavioral psychology". But, I have tended to be too harsh regarding the gradual disintegration of Psychology over the last century by people trained in "BS&bp" [explained Here].
The "problem" is that when people are facilitated to an awareness of deeply repressed misperceptions hidden within their MINDs, they are very vulnerable to what they experience.... and this means their MINDs can and will [unless prevented from doing so by a "competent" therapist] exacerbate the misperceptions of negativity they stir up from within themselves against themselves... thus reinforcing the conflicts within their MINDs. And unless this confusion is properly addressed - only possible by someone familiar with the Esoteric MIND - the MIND of the person tends to reinforce the misperceptions, increasing the "conflict" of the persons MIND.
As I say... I have written harsh comments about this "abuse" of people by a profession that has been taken over by Intellectualism over the last century in America. But, what has happened is not accidental, it is in keeping with the general degeneration of morality in America by an increased number of Souls incarnating into this physical plane who are relatively new to the form of Human Being. The nation [and the Earth generally] peopled by this increase in Intelack Souls, has reacted to the continuous bombardment of evil as a result of the "resonance" of the Iron Age of Man impacting Man the Earth over the last several thousands of years. I have written a number of books regarding this phenomenon relative to December 21, 2012 Here . I just mention this to somewhat explain that my harshness is an indication of my own "attachment" to wanting life to be other than it is. I do realize that people are doing the best they can... given what they have to work with.
No one is to "blame", and everyone is "guilty" of merely being human beings in a time of evil and intense negativity upon the Earth. The Earth is not to blame, and Mankind is not to blame, all Souls are receiving the same negative messages from the influence of the Iron Age of Man. What differentiates us all is where, on the Ladder of Life, each Soul is perched?
Life on this Earth is about much more Esoteric dimensions and purposes that most people can consider, since most people are limited to what they "think" about life. The Earth and Life are about providing invisible answers to the questions Man has regarding who he is, why he is, and what the purpose of life might be? The problem is.... so few people can "see" these invisible answers. Not unlike what Christ said to his disciples about the masses being unable to "see" or "hear" what he was saying to his disciples.... since he said that they had been given the ability to both "see" and "hear". The question is this: Who gave them this "ability"? And the answer is very difficult to explain.
Built into Life itself is all we need as Souls. But the MIND that was attached to each Soul as it entered the Creation is unable to perceive the Spirituality of the Soul it was attached to. And ones Soul was required to depend upon its MIND to explore and experience the Creation. This dependence grew and grew until now, we Souls have forgotten who we were.... before entering this Creation?.... A hint is given Here.
We have forgotten our own Spirituality, in other words. And we are left "thinking" what our MINDs want us to think. And it is quite difficult to believe in a Spirituality that ones MIND resists with all the power at its disposal... and this power is substantial. Only those Souls that have, over who knows how many lifetimes, worked their way up the Ladder of Life can reach a point where this power of the MIND begins to give way to elements of Truth that ones Soul has accumulated over many, many lifetimes. Specifically, we Souls slowly "complete" Karma: Eventually tiring of doing the same dumb things over and over again, we begin to realize that the only option we have is to literally "forgive those who trespass against us". Because those who trespass against us are only returning what we have done to them in previous lifetimes. Who would have believed that the Lords Prayer was literal, and not just a suggestive allegory?
The study of Esochology is the study of the Whole of Man as part of the Reality of Life. This study involves mysticism, Spirituality, Psychology, and an "experiencing" of the Esoteric dimensions that cannot be experienced by the brain, its thinking, or ones physical senses. Esochology utilizes Intuition, insight, and what is often called "psychic phenomena".
