The MIND has two "natures". These are known as the Yin and Yang natures of the MIND. The YANG nature is the "male" out-going natue and this is the power source of ones energy. In some people, for any number of reasons, there is a fear of the Yang Energy of the MIND. And these individuals will typically have a fully non-conscious fear of the YANG Energy within their MINDs. The fear manifests itself in several ways, perhaps the principle among these is a fully-non-conscious fear of taking "personal responsibility". In extreme cases catatonia, and in milder cases difficulty in making choices which over time evolves into becoming very adept at manipulating others into assuming responsibility for actions you want to accomplish. This is done whether it is obvious or not, and whether people complain or not... ones psychological "need" takes precedence over ones other ego needs. A variation on this fear of personal responsibility is a fear of being "wrong" and this is coupled with a fear of asserting oneself for fear that ones actions will be seen as "wrong". In this case ones MIND creates a "work around" by developing ways to manipulate people, events and ones environment in ways that one cannot be cited as "wrong". Oddly enough, the skill some people develop in manipulating others to assume responsibility for tasks that oneself receives credit for places one in ever more responsible jobs and roles. It occurs to me that such a person would be psychologically drawn to socialism with its collectivist spreading of responsibility around so that no one is responsible for anything. In this sense socialism is ideal for those infected with LMSyn because it promises to relieve one of the "responsibility for life", while the MIND of the LMSyn individual would "fit" perfectly in the socialist system where ones delusional thinking causes one to imagine oneself as the "ruling class" which justifies dishonesty and manipulation to gain ease for oneself at the expense of other, less worthy individuals. Does this bring anyone to mind, perhaps?
It is probably worth noting that this fear of asserting the Yang energy of ones MIND is the primary fear that drives those suffering from Progressivism. This fear and the likelihood that the Progressive Personality is limited in the number of lifetimes he or she has spent in human form, couple to suggest the reason Progressive individuals always seek the Utopian dream, which inevitably leads to Socialism, Communism, or ultimately Fascism. It should also be noted that a heightened level of MIND is required in the Progressive individual, which often results in an increased intellectualism [believed to be compensation for a diminished access to intuition ].
